Photography
I have discovered that design skills are also valuable in the world of photography. Posing, framing, and editing all require an eye for design and I have enjoyed developing this side of my skillset.
Children
Children are probably my favorite group of people to photograph. When you can get them to smile (which is sometimes a challenge), it is the most real and joyous of any other group. They smile with their entire face and look as if there is nothing in the world to care about. I guess for them, there isn't.
Families
Along with children, families hold a special place in my heart as well. I encourage them to look up ideas on Pinterest for clothing and posing and then I work with them to get a similar look at their photo shoot. When the shoot is over, I spend time editing the shots and then can't wait to share the finished product. I love the excitement and pride I see when moms and dads see their beautiful families captured in photos.
Seniors
Seniors are a fun group as well. They struggle sometimes to get into the mood for picture taking so it might take a little coaxing to get a smile. When I do get them to a point of ease, we end up with some great pictures.
